Behavior Problems

Often these problems start early in the development of the puppy or kitten, and can be very difficult to fix.

Boulder's Natural Animal approaches behavior problems in the same way it approaches every complex chronic problem, using and Integrative Medicine approach.

By looking at all the factors that come into play to create a healthy animal, and by acknowledging that there is a connection between physical health and mental health (the mind-body connection), patients with behavior problems will improve more rapidly than with just behavioral modification training and psychiatric drugs alone.

Certain nutrients and herbs are known to influence behavior, and by using Traditional Chinese medicine with acupuncture and Chinese herbs further benefit can be promoted for animals with behavior problems.

Of course training, and re-training, and loads of patience are also very important to the success of behavior problem therapy.
