BOULDER'S NATURAL ANIMAL OFFICE POLICIES

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM OUR INITIAL EXAMINATION:

• The philosophy at Boulder's Natural Animal is to provide the highest level of care, and caring possible for your pets. This means a thorough initial workup of your animal. Typically these initial appointments last from 25 to 50 minutes (although we are not clock watchers), and there often is the need for follow-up visits, either for acupuncture or other therapies.
• Handouts are given to you during the initial appointment(s) and educational talks may be presented, if time allows, during this first appointment.
  

PAYMENT AND CREDIT CARD POLICY:

• Payment is expected at the time of service. If arrangements need to be made, please inform the staff before you incur the expenses.
• We are a small, private business. It is our desire to try to keep the costs of medical care for your pet reasonable. We really can't afford to give out credit, and by doing so it increases our fees more than they need to be. On the other hand, we would not want to see an animal suffer because it could not get care. We take cash, checks, VISA, MASTERCARD and DISCOVER.
• For first time clients who are scheduling for our extended or very extended cancer consults, we will take your credit card number as a deposit in the event that you do not cancel your appointment with 24 hours or more notice.

  These appointments are 50 and 90 minutes long, respectively. There usually are a number of patients that have requested your appointment time. If you do not show, or cancel without enough notice, we cannot then give these other patients (who are very much in need of our services) that appointment time. We have found that by asking for a deposit, that there are fewer no shows, and we are better able to see those patients in need.

  If it was your pet who was in urgent need of seeing us, I am sure you would appreciate it if we could fit you in sooner for an appointment that someone else has  considerately given us adequate notice to contact you about the opening.
  

CANCELLATION OF APPOINTMENTS:

• The courtesy of a 24-hour prior notice before canceling an appointment is requested.
• As mentioned in the above section of payment and credit card policy, for new clients seeing the doctor for a 50 minute or 90 minute appointment, your credit card will be charged for the appointment if you do not give us 24 hours or more notice.
